Aside from accessories, is there any difference between an Xbox 360 Pro and Arcade?
I have an old Xbox 360 Pro (with the 20 gig hard drive) that has died. I would like to get a new system with the Jasper chip and HDMI capability, but have no need for another microphone, harddrive, etc. Is there any substantive difference in the hardware on the Pro and Arcade models currently for sale at retail outlets?
There are no major differences except that Arcade can’t play all original xbox games. (not backward compatible).
We had to replace our console because of RROD, and it was over 3 yrs old. We got the Arcade, cuz we also had all necessary accessories and a 120GB hard drive.
so yeah, just get the Arcade.
