Loaded Longboard Help?
I really want to get the Loaded Bamboo Vanguard Longboard but i have some concerns. The board comes in two separate sizes 38” and 42”. I want to get the 42” one but I only weigh like 140 lbs and the lowest flex for the 42” version of that board that can fit me is 150lbs-200lbs. i was wondering is i could still ride that board comfortably. Any suggestions?
if you’re in the bottom of your weight class for a loaded board, it might be a blessing really. the 42 will be more stable for you, both because of the extra length and stiffness. If you want to carve more, go for the shorter one. Its not like a “mine’s bigger” type of thing. You should get the shorter one if you want to carve, the longer one if you plan to bomb more. 38 is still pretty long, and you have to remember that there is practically no tail, so a 34 or so inch wheelbase is plenty long.
