Earlier today, I made a prank call. On my mom. XD

Just to explain the situation first - a typhoon arrived about a coupla days ago, and whenever there is heavy rainfall, it becomes more difficult to commute. Flood waters rise up, buses and jeepneys become scarce, a lot of people get stranded, traffic becomes worse than it already is, and traveling (especially via public transportation) becomes a pain in the ass. OK, moving on.

I had a hard time getting home from work yesterday, so my mom felt that the same thing might happen today, since the typhoon is still hanging around. But fortunately today’s homeward adventure was a sharp contrast to yesterday’s nightmare.

I think I was on the train when I got the idea to play a prank on my mom. So I when I got home I lurked outside at a safe distance and called her cellphone.

Mom: Hello? Can’t get a ride again?
Me: Uh, I’m here.
Mom: Where?
Me: Outside.
Mom: Outside where?
Me: Outside the house. Hahahaha…

I just saw a cat get run over a car. Then get dragged. Then when I could see it again, it was lying in a motionless, bloody heap at the end of a long streak of bright red blood.

I can’t get the image of the poor thing getting dragged by the car out of my mind.

I’m so fucking traumatized right now.

Rest in peace, little orange one.

I’m not much of a video game fan, but duuude. I really, really want this.

I learned about Rock Band a few months back, and yesterday I saw it in Toys “R” Us. It’s Php 15,000. If I’m gonna get the game I’m gonna have to buy a console to play it on, preferably an Xbox or a PS3. I wasn’t able to ask how much those are though.

I asked my brother if he wanted to chip in, and he said he’d give me 5 bucks. Ha.

Rock Band 2 is coming out soon, but I’m not sure when it will arrive here. To wait or not to wait?

If anybody knows where I can get Rock Band and an Xbox/PS3 for less, and when Rock Band 2 will hit the Philippines, do let me know. =D
