Marlar announces bid for Iowa State Senate race
Saying he believes elected officials should control the government, not the people, and promising a two-term limit of service, Wayland resident Rick Marlar threw his hat into the State Senate 45th District ring last week, hoping to unseat incumbent Becky Schmitz.
