Fraying Fabric & About outta Fray Guard ?
What else can I use in place of Fray Guard as Im almost out of it & live an hr + outta Phoenix in Desert Country (or Rattlesnake Central).
I have a Vanilla creme, Az Coyotes Brown, Chocolate Brown, Mud Brown & Stainless Steel Looking Brown Color fabrics that Im using to make pillows & Pillow Covers for my Pillow Back couch.
~so I need something that will blend or absorb the color in the fabrics.
I have: Sally Hansen Clear Nail Hardener, and a Beige Color Nail Polish. Oh I have a can of starch. ~Almost sure none of these will wash out in the wash. Can I use any of these or Other than those…..
what in the house can/could I possibly use in place of Fray Guard??
the Vanilla Creme 1 is coming undone as Im try’g to sew it so I have to do something w/ this 1 for sure.
How about zig-zagging your seam allowances? Or, even easier, don’t worry. The fabric won’t fray, as much, inside a pillow. I have been sewing for 45 years, and have NEVER done anything to seams of a pillow.
