Longboard deck broke need advise on new deck!?
Ok so my longboard deck broke from a car running over it. I am wondering if I can use just any kind of longboard deck for my trucks and wheels. The longboard I had was a sector 9 uluwatu with all the original trucks and wheels it came with. Could I use any size longboard deck to put my trucks and wheels on? Or do I have to get a new deck that is around the same size as my previous deck? And does it matter if the new deck is cheap? Would it make a difference? Thanks.
ouch that sucks, but i would suggest getting a similar board if you want to use the same trucks so maybe the same pin shape as an uluwatu or a board that is also designed for downhill speed unfortunately i don’t know what type of trucks are on the uluwatu but its probably safe to assume they are made for high speed stability so a board similar to that would probably be best, i don’t think the length would make much of a difference but be sure not to get a board designed for different types of trucks like lock and hold trucks.
